Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker?s campaign said Monday that it would not be challenging the validity of the petition signatures that would force the state into a recall election.
The Walker campaign said that they did not have sufficient time to review the more than 152,000 pages of recall petitions.

Walker was facing a Monday deadline to file challenges to the petition.
His campaign was given a twenty-day extension, beyond the ten days outlined in state law. Walker had sought an additional two weeks but was turned down.
The Wisconsin governor has only served for just over a year but has prompted opposition from the left over his confrontations with unions and his efforts to weaken collective bargaining rights.
The recall election is expected to take place later this year.
